I distanced myself from the app last year. What is your position on that?
Me trying out Session messenger came to an abrupt end - I'm uninstalling it and recommend that everybody does the same. People pointed out the app's connections to the alt-right scene which I could sadly confirm. So I don't want to contribute to them washing the stains away.

The simple truth about the claims made in this thread are that there is no evidence to support them at all. We're happy answer any questions, we have nothing to hide.

The simple truth is, your reaction to these claims wasn’t distancing yourself from racism and incel ideology. It was a friendly advice to your lead developer to live out his “dark humor” in ways that cannot be connected to his work. Oops, got it archived. archive.is/hdKfU

In fact, this reaction tells more about you than my spotty evidence ever could. If you “welcome” everyone regardless of toxic views, the alt-right and similar movements will happily accept and push everyone out. The paradox of tolerance. 🤷‍♂️

1/ The first and most important point to make is that we don’t in any way condone this and I personally find the content in the archive deplorable and unacceptable. It is not representative of the beliefs of our foundation or the people who are a part of it.

Appreciate you being open about this. I see that the Session GitHub repos now have a code of conduct, does that apply across optf or is it only for session ?

The code of conduct applies across the OPTF, all of our projects, and projects that we launch in the future.
